The area surrounding the pond is a good place for a leisurely stroll. Don’t be surprised if some ducks accompany you on your walks. More than likely they want you to feed them, which you can do, provided you give them food from the duck feeders set up along the walkway. There are some benches around the pond and landscaped areas where you can have a picnic.
The pond area, with the castle in the background, is spectacular in the winter too, when it transforms into a huge ice rink that skaters can enjoy.
