The Thermal Camping is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, in a 3.2-hectare park surrounded by a forest belt in the resort area of the town of Gyula, about 1 km away from the downtown and about 700 m away from the Castle Spa. The comfort of the campers is assured by a renovated toilet block and camp kitchen. We have 120 trailer pitches with utility hookups, as well as pitches for tents. Our 20 heatable bungalows, each with a bathroom and 4-5 beds plus an optional extra bed, can provide cheap accommodation for almost 100 persons. Our campsite is an excellent venue for events with a large number of participants; meals can be provided by hot food catering or self-organized open-air cooking and barbecuing. As a youth accommodation, we help the arriving hiker and camper groups to have lasting experiences by assisting them in programme organization. The town and its surroundings offer excellent excursion opportunities for groups of hikers, tourists or pensioners.
