The Gyula version of pálinka, Hungary’s traditional fruit brandy, was first made in 1731. That’s when the first pálinka distillery in Gyula was founded by János György Harruckern. The Baron Harruckern Pálinka Manufactory Ltd. is the successor of the nearly 300-year-old tradition that the Baron started. You can buy their pure, 100% distillates fermented from fragrant, full flavoured fruits in the shop. We recommend tasting the spirits at 20 - 22 °C so that you can feel the velvety richness of the fruit in every sip.
