Among the sculptures exhibited in the park we can find the bronze bust of Béla Bartók by the Greek-Hungarian sculptor, Makrisz Agamemnon. Another item exhibited here is László Szabó’s white limestone bust of Attila József, a Hungarian poet, which was made in 1966. One of the most impressive pieces in the Sculpture Park is Barna Búza’s twice life-size bust of Endre Ady, Hungarian poet and journalist, made from white limestone in 1973. Another notable figure on the promenade is the bust of Albrecht Dürer, a painter and printmaker, whose father moved to Nuremberg from Ajtós, a town near Gyula. Cast in bronze by András Kocsis in 1963, the bust of Dürer, the German Renaissance artist, stands on a higher pedestal.
